This policy explains what Cruzen Digital collects when you use CruzenBook, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Your account. Your mobile number, your name and your business details — business name, address, GSTIN and PAN where you provide them. The mobile number is required because it is how you sign in.
Your business records. The parties, items, invoices, payments and other records you create. We store these to provide the service. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.
Technical data. Basic request logs, including IP address and timestamps, kept to operate the service securely and to detect abuse.
Payments. If you buy a paid plan, the payment is taken by our payment partner on their own page. Card and bank details are entered there and never reach our servers. We receive only the result of the payment and an identifier for it.
Why we use it
- To run the service and show you your own data.
- To sign you in, by sending a one-time code to your mobile number over WhatsApp.
- To take payment for a plan and record what you bought.
- To keep the service secure, including rate limiting and abuse detection.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
Who else sees it
Only service providers we need in order to operate, and only what they need: our hosting provider, our payment partner for payments, and our WhatsApp messaging provider for one-time codes. If you choose to share reports with your CA, that person sees what you share. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
We may disclose data if required by law or a valid order from an authority, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. Deleting a record inside the app hides it from your views but keeps it stored, so an accidental deletion can be undone and so that a complete audit trail of billing documents exists. Billing records are retained for the period Indian tax law requires. If you close your account and ask us to erase your data, we will do so except where we must keep it by law.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Each business’s data is isolated, and a request can only read records belonging to the business it is signed in to. One-time codes are stored only as a hash and expire shortly after being issued. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and fix problems promptly.
Your choices
You can view and correct your business details in the app at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to erase it, by writing to info@cruzendigital.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and will verify your identity first.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears here with a new date. Significant changes will also be notified in the app.
